PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
Flame Resistance

• Charter™ offers permanent flame resistance due to its fiberglass and vinyl construction. An extra measure of safety. Meets federal government specifications CCC-C-52le for flame.
• National Fire Protection Association specification NFPA No. 701 (small scale), Flame Resistant Textiles, Films.
• Federal Test Method Standard 191A Test Method 5903.

FABRIC WEIGHT:

• Total weight is 12 oz. per square yard.

Washability: The material can be washed on both sides when gently scrubbed with a mild 5 percent detergent solution in warm water.

Color Fastness: The material shall withstand, without significant color change, 500 hours in a Fadeometer at 105° and 300 hours in a Weatherometer.

Color Uniformity: Charter™ is held to commercial color variation. However, dye lot identity is not retained in manufacturing.

Tensile Strength: Minimum thread count of the base fabric used in Charter™ is 60 threads per square inch.

The minimum tensile strength of this material per 1" strip shall be 130 pounds in the warp direction and 120 pounds in the filling direction.
