Accessibility Policy

ELITE is committed to creating an accessible, inclusive, and barrier-free environment for our clients, employees, and all individuals who visit our workplace or access our services and information. We support and uphold the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and are dedicated to continuously improving accessibility across our organization.

We recognize our responsibility to provide an environment that is safe, welcoming, and respectful for everyone. We are committed to ensuring that all individuals, including those with disabilities, have equitable access to our services and opportunities.

Our accessibility policies, practices, and procedures are guided by the following four core principles:

Dignity – Persons with a disability must be treated with value who are as deserving of our services as any other.

Equality of Opportunity – Persons with a disability will be given an opportunity equal to that given to others to obtain, use, and benefit from our services.

Integration – Where possible, persons with a disability will benefit from our services in the same or similar manner as any other person.

Independence –Goods and services will be provided in a way that respects the independence of persons with a disability. To this end, we will always be willing to assist a person with a disability but will not do so without the express permission of the person.

To promote inclusivity and accessibility, we permit individuals with a disability and who are on our premises to be accompanied by a service animal or support person and/or to utilize any assistive devices as required.

Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment for all individuals. Our Multi-Year Accessibility Plan outlines the steps we are taking to identify, remove, and prevent barriers to accessibility in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation.
